I am Durham (UK) based Illustrator, specialising in narrative portraiture and other subjects based in folk lore, history, crime and the supernatural. I create detailed and thoughtful mixed media images with a gothic feel, created using a combination of traditional and digital techniques. I most often use technical pen on paper finished and coloured in Photoshop, using stock and found textures, my own photos and vintage image elements.
I have created commissioned images and design work for book, film, animation, music industry and merchandise, as well as my own printed clothing designs and personal projects.
